Do Not turn off the power supply before reading the fault codes, doing so will clear the diagnostic memory. Caution
must be taken when removing the access covers, as high voltages are present.
Fault diagnosis is available at three locations within the Air Conditioning system. :-
1. Remote Controller - press the check button (if installed)
2. Central Controller – press the check button (if installed)
3. Outdoor Unit – Inv & Fix switch positions 1 - 1 - 1

10 System failure protection and code
Controller will judge various failures in system operation automatically and treats them accordingly subject to
failure types. Failure protection can be classified two types subject to failure reason and treatment method:
system recoverable protection and system serious failure protection.

Controller of HAC-FX-AUX
System recoverable protection
While air condition system recoverability occurs, whole system should adopt correlative protection
measurement.
After failure protected recovers to normal condition, system will recover to nomal condition.

Failure reason = Treturn air sensor damage
Failure code = Po:01
Enter condition = Sensor short or cut
Protection measure = Timing operation

AUX Highcool 2007 Series Fault Codes
In the event of a failure a fault code on the controller will usually advise the nature of the problem.
Fault codes are divided into two groups. E codes are major faults and require the system to be manually reset. P codes are minor faults and will reset themselves in the event of the fault condition resolving itself. Sensor Failure P codes will allow the unit to run in emergency mode for 50 minutes with limited functionality before halting operation if the failure is not cleared.
All fault codes should be investigated by an engineer, although Pr03 and Pr08 should be investigated by the user by cleaning the filter and checking the operating temperature first.

Error = 127
Description = Compressor overload on chiller
Cause/Corrective Action = The Err 127 fault code will be indicated on the digital display if the internal compressor motor winding thermostat or the external compressor motor overload has tripped. This fault will also shut off the pump.
The internal compressor motor winding thermostat will automatically reset when the temperature drops back into the normal operating range. The external compressor motor overload must be manually reset.
The compressor motor overload is located inside the electrical enclosure. Once the internal compressor motor winding thermostat resets and/or the external compressor overload has been reset, press the Alarm Reset button to reset the fault.

Error = 128
Description = Chiller high temperature safety
Cause/Corrective Action = The Err 128 fault code will be indicated on the digital displays if the chiller has been shut off due to the high temperature safety.
This safety will shut off both the pump and compressor. This safety is triggered if the To Process temperature rises more than 10°F (5.5°C) above the maximum operating temperature for that particular chiller.
The maximum operating temperature for each chiller is noted on the nameplate. The To Process temperature must be over the limit for three minutes before this safety will be triggered, and the fault is defeated for a period of thirty minutes from the time the Start button is pressed or the Set
Point temperature is changed. Pressing the Alarm Reset button will reset this fault.
